Andrew’s Assist provides a comprehensive approach to protecting young lives from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) through both primary prevention and secondary intervention.
Our goal is to identify youth at risk before an event occurs and ensure communities are prepared to respond effectively when an emergency

Our primary prevention programs focus on expanding access to proactive heart screenings and education that help families recognize hidden cardiac risks.
We bring equipment and trained staff to conduct ECG screenings for youth ages 12–25, with the goal of preventing SCA before it strikes.
An electrocardiogram (ECG) is the most effective tool for detecting conditions that cause SCA. It is noninvasive, five times more sensitive than medical history, ten times more sensitive than a physical exam, and has a lower false positive rate overall.

Our secondary intervention programs strengthen community readiness through partnerships with schools and other organizations.
These efforts include hands only CPR/AED training sessions, increasing public access to AEDs through strategic placements in locations such as parks and athletic areas, and promoting Cardiac Emergency Response Plans so bystanders can act quickly and confidently when seconds matter.
Be Aware and Be Prepared!
